TEACHER – Food Technology (MPS/UPS + SEN 1 allowance)

Horizons Specialist Academy Trust are seeking to employ a Teacher of Food Technology to join our established team at Mo Mowlam Academy.
Horizons Specialist Academy Trust consists of eight Academies and one Sixth Form across Tees Valley and North Yorkshire area serving a population of approximately 1000 students aged 5 to 19 with a broad range of learning difficulties. Mo Mowlam Academy joined the Trust in April 2019 and provides for approximately 100 pupils aged 5 to 16 years who have SEMHD as their identified primary need.
We are seeking an outstanding, creative and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join our team at Mo Mowlam Academy. The ideal candidate will:
- Be a Food Technology Specialist or qualified Teacher with relevant experience in the delivery of Food Technology.
- Work closely with staff to promote student learning, achievement and progress.
Previous experience of working with students with SEMHD would be desirable but not essential. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential requirements of this post.
