Horizons Specialist Academy Trust consists of seven Academies and one Sixth Form across the Tees Valley and North Yorkshire areas serving a population in excess of 800 students with a broad range of learning difficulties.
Westlands Academy is situated in Thornaby and caters for students aged 11 to 16 years who have SEMHD as their identified primary need.
We are seeking creative and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team. The right candidates will need to be enthusiastic and inspirational with high expectations of our children and themselves.
Previous experience of working with students with SEMHD would be desirable. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential requirements of this post.
