Abbey Hill Academy & Abbey Hill Academy 6th Form is “where amazing children do amazing things!” We specialise in meeting the needs of students aged 11 to 19 who have a full range of learning disabilities as well as other specials needs including physical needs or autism.
Abbey Hill Academy 6th Form, provides for young people aged 16 to 19 years who have learning difficulties, as well as other physical and social needs.
We are seeking to appoint 2 experienced, outstanding, creative and enthusiastic Level 3 teaching assistants who have the flexibility to work with young people who have a variety of special educational needs. We have vacancies supporting students within ICT and Food Technology. We are also looking to appoint an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant. (Please indicate on your application form which post you are interested in). The successful candidates will work in the classroom giving attention to their physical as well as educational requirements.
Although there is an expectation that all our staff will work across the Trust as necessary, this post will be based at the Abbey Hill Academy 6th Form.
Visits to the academy are welcomed and highly recommended.
