Green Gates Academy is seeking to appoint a cleaner to join our small established team.
Green Gates Academy is situated in Stockton and provides for up to 50 pupils ranging from Year 1 to Year 6. All pupils have an Education Health Care Plan due to their social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
The role included working alone and as part of a small team to ensure that the environment for children is suitable for learning and presents the school in the best possible way.
The role will involve a range of cleaning duties including washrooms, kitchens and classrooms.
The post holder may be required to operate floor-cleaning machinery and training will be provided.
The working hours are either 7.00 am – 9.00 am or 3.15 pm – 5.15 pm, Monday to Friday during term time (plus 5 PD days). Previous cleaning experience, particularly within a school environment, would be an advantage but not essential as training can be provided.
