Horizons Specialist Academy Trust consists of eight Academies and one Sixth Form across the Tees Valley, County Durham and North Yorkshire area serving a population in excess of 900 students with a broad range of learning difficulties.
The Trust wishes to appoint a Caretaker to join our Site Management Team. The successful candidate will be based at The Woodlands Academy in Scarborough which has just embarked upon an exciting redevelopment project that will result in a new purpose built academy.
The successful candidate will be someone who is keen to maintain high standards, sharing good practice and collaborating with others within the Team and has the ability to use their own initiative with regard to prioritising workloads and recognising areas that require attention. Candidates should have awareness of COSHH and Health & Safety and be prepared to work flexibly especially during the new build phase. Previous school experience is not essential.
Experience in a trade such as joinery or plumbing would be desirable.
