Worried about your child online? Free parental workshop
As parents and carers, educating ourselves about online risk is essential; the world our kids are growing up in is very different to our own teenage years.
Ralph Pesgrave, Risk and Resilience co-ordinator from Middlesbrough local authority is running parent/carer training on Tuesday March 19th. The sessions are online, and you do not need to book a place. There are 3 sessions, 9.30am, 3pm and 6pm. Ralph will be exploring snapchat and helping you to understand some of its features that put children at risk, and how you can support your child to use the app safely. Child exploitation is a reality - we all need to educate ourselves on it.
